WRITING GUIDELINE OF JURNAL SUHANAH

  1. The article has not yet published on other media and does not contain plagiarism element. The article should be enclosed with author writing consent.
  2. The article is the result of research, conceptual (independent), theory application, case report, or book review. The article could be written in Indonesian or English approximately 5.000 word. The article should be written with computer on A4 size paper with top and left margins 4 centimeters; and right bottom margins 3 centimeters. The font in used should be Time New Roman size 12. The space should be at multiple 1.2. The title should be written maximum 14 words.
  3. The article has to enclose the author/s name. Multiple authors name order should be agreed by the first, second, and so forth author. The order is usually base on the author’s contribution and all authors are responsible to the article content. The author name should be written in bold with 12 size font Times New Roman (title sample could be seen on journal template).  
  4. The article has to enclose the author mail address: the author’s university or institution mail and email address. The author address should be written in 12 size font Times New Roman without bold and italic.
  5. The article has to enclose with ABSTRACT in English language and ABSTRAK in Indonesian language. The maximum words for ABSTRACT and ABSTRAK are 300(three hundreds) in essay form consists of research purpose, research method, and research result. It should be enclosed with keywords (3 to 4 words). The font is Times new Roman in 10 size and space 1, italic. The ABSTRACT should be written in italic whereas the ABSTRAK should not. The word ABSTRACT in English language should be written and ABSTRAK IN Indonesian language with Time new Roman font in size 12. The ABSTRACT word should be written with bold, ABSTRAK too.
  6. The ABSTRACT (English language) and ABSTRAK (Indonesian language) material have to enclose with keywords in Times New Roman font size 10, and space 1 (one). ABSTRACT words have to written in italic. The keywords should consist of 3 to 4 words.
  7. The article should consist of INTRODUCTION, METHOD, RESULT AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, and BIBLIOGRAPHY.  The INTRODUCTION, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSION, and BIBLIOGRAPHY have to be written in capital with Times New Roman font size 12 in bold and italic.
  8. The INTRODUCTION has to be written in MS format with Times New Roman font size 12 with multiple 1.2 spaces. The contents consist of research problem background, hypothesis (if available), research purpose, review of supporting and relevant literature, and research hypotheses. Most articles are not too extensive. Contains state of the art supported by relevant previous journal articles. The introduction is inclined to several books as research reference or basic, and also consists of present time knowledge. Literature review should not be written as separate part of the introduction. It means the literature review is included in INTRODUCTION. The reference should be primary, relevant, and current reference. The literature review should not be too extensive meaning its scope is not too large.
  9. METHOD has to be explained the design of the research method used, research location, population, sample, data source, instrument, approach to data analysis and statistical analysis / test techniques used.
  10. RESULT AND DISCUSSION has to be written with 1 spaces. The systematic contents should consist of data/ information related to research purpose, the table should be in simple and open format; and also the map picture should be focusing on studied object. The file size should not be too large and complicated (the format should be in .jpg). The table and picture should be consistent and have to be numbered. The purpose of RESULT AND DISCUSSION is finding author appreciate the research result; and the border of the research.   11. CONCLUSION consists of a brief explanation of the basis of the discussion and answers the research objectives without going beyond them. Conclusions are written in narrative form and do not use numbering. Please note, writing the conclusion does not repeat the research results that have been included in tables and figures.
  12. BIBLIOGRAPHY uses sixty percent or more journal references than non-journal references. The author of the article pays attention to the recency of the reference sources. Preferably the reference sources used are the last 10 years. Old references are only used if there are no new discoveries that replace them. Written using Times New Roman 11 pt font. Include the sources cited in the writing of the manuscript. Only referenced sources are included in this reference list. Written using APA (American Psychological Association) format. Arranged alphabetically, with the following conditions:
    (a)  For journal articles: author's name, year, essay title, journal name (italic), publication number, first and last page.
    (b)  For books: author's name, year of publication, title (italic), edition, city of publication, publisher's name.
    (c)  For articles in books: author's name, year, essay title, book title (italic), editor, city of publication, publisher's name.
    (d) For papers that are disseminated: author's name, year, essay title, seminar name (italic), organizer, time, place of the seminar.
